History

Starfish Early Learning Centre is a privately owned and newly constructed child care facility that has been purpose built to cater for children from 6 weeks old to 5 years old. The building has been specifically designed by our architect and interior designer to provide a warm and secure environment for all children and to provide flexibility to the different age groups and developmental stages of all children in our care.

The centre consists of 6 children’s room and 2 outdoor spaces. Each children’s room has access to lockers, children’s bathroom, nappy change bench, storeroom and outdoor space. Also, the rooms catering for children up to 2 years old has access to its own food preparation room including refrigerator and microwave.

Our Centre is opened 50 weeks of the year, except for public holidays and closed for two weeks during the Christmas and New Year’s season (families will be provided with notice prior to this closure). We are open between the hours of 7am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Our Centre is licensed with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and we abide with the “Education and Care Services Act 2010” and the “Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011”. We have been accredited by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority.
